Hikari's Book Review

 My cousins came to my house last Saturday. I have two cousins. One is a two-year-old girl, Aoi and the other is a newborn baby, Kaito. He is a boy. I hold him in my arms and played with Aoi for a long time. She likes to songs, so she always dances to musics for small children. They are very very cute! If it's sunny on weekend, we will go to the zoo.I'm looking forward to it. And I want to buy some toys for them someday. So I should earn a lot of money by my part-time job.

"Must be a thunderstorm coming," said Henry.  Storms make Henry jumpy. They make his dog, Mudge, even jumpier. When the thunder goes pow !, Mudge always goes to hide. Henry tries to help his best friends...  I don't like thunderstorms, too. So I have sympathy for Mudge's feeling. If someone helps me the same as Henry did, I will feel happy. SHREK FOREVER AFTER 'You must give one day of your life to me.'  Shrek and Fiona have Three children now and for Shrek, everyday is the same. But when Shrek puts his name on Rumpelstiltskin's contract, everything is much worse. Actually, Rumpelstiltskin is very bad. To solve this situation, Shrek needs True Love's Kiss from Fiona.  Shrek is one of my favorite movies, so it was interesting. It's important for people to love someone and think about happiness of our daily life.  If you like the movie of Shrek, please read this book.

I held a sweets party with my friends last Thursday. First, we went to a supermarket near here to buy something to eat and drink. For example, potato chips, popcorn, chocolate, and so on. Second, I and Haruka cooked fried chickens and fried potatoes, and Rina and Saya set the table. When the party started, we ate a lot of snacks and sweets. We talked about school life, a part-time job, and love for a long time. It was so fun. I want to held it again.

"Please, Pa," begged Faith, "give her one more chance. It was the dog's fault."    Faith and her family were going to California in a covered wagon. She wanted to take Josefina, her pet hen to California, but her father didn't allow her to do because there was no room in the wagon for pets and Josefina was too old to lay eggs and too tough to eat. Her father finally allowed her to take Josefina only if Josefina made any trouble.  During the trip, Josefina made a trouble. But after that, she begun to lay eggs again. So her father allowed her to have Josefina.  When Josefina died, Faith cried and cried. They had a funeral for Josefina. Then her decided to sew a pine tree patch for Josefina. The family helped Faith stitch the patches together into a quilt. The quilt covered her bed. And every night Faith felt warm and happy under the Josefina story quilt.

My week   I will held sweets party with my friends on Thursday. I, Rina, Haruka, Yuka, Saya, and Kisa are very close friends. We'll bring some snacks and sweets and meet Haruka's house. I want to talk with them and eat sweets. I can't wait this party!!

Sarah's Surprise  Sarah starts to work at the cafe. The owner goes shopping and there are only two people including her in the cafe. A man comes into the cafe, takes some food, but does not give any money to her.  She doesn't know what to do, so she tells her colleague and calls the police. Then the police come, Sarah tells them man's characteristic. She is in panic.  When the owner comes back, a man comes into the cafe, too. In fact, he is the owner's husband. He gets his sandwiches there everyday. Sarah is very surprised. "Oh? He's your husband...!" (p.16)
