 Last Saturday, I went to the hamburg steak shop near my house because I had an interview for a part-time job. The manager was very kind, so I was able to relax and I thought I want to work there. He said he will phone me on Monday if he employs me. Yesterday, I was waiting for a call from the shop. I was so nervous. Suddenly, my cell phone rang, and the manager told me that he decided to employ me. I was very happy! I'm looking forward to my first part-time job!

"We've got to rescue Floppy," said Chip. "We must go bach into the adventure." "But we can't make the key glow," said Biff. "I know," said Chip, "but we must try. One day, Biff and Chip went to a good place for the picnic to fly the kite with Gran.  There were some people who wanted to build a motorway. Gran and the children didn't want to build it because it would go between the wood and the village. Can Gran stop the motorway  from being built near her cottage?  What do you think about the contination of this story? What would you do if you were in their place?

The play was going to be held in the park, and the children had to rehearse their scene. Gran had come to watch the rehearsal. Gran had experienced World War Two when she was young, so it reminded her of her childhood. She tried to tell the children that the war was terrible, but they began to laugh because they didn't experience the war. Then suddenly the magic key began to glow. They faced some dangerous adventure, but finally they could find a big gold and made the family happy.  This story is one of the magic key series of ORT(Oxford Reading Tree). Pepys asks the chief fire-fighter.  It's London,1666. It's a hot, dry summer. A small fire starts in Thomas Farriner's house. He runs a bakery in Pudding Lane. Soon the city of London is burning and the twenty fire-fighters can't stop the fire.  People are running from their houses down to the River Thames. The king asks his secretaries to find a person who set fire. But Thomas's family escape from there so his secretaries can't find them.  Is there a person who can stop it?  When I was reading it, I enjoyed a thrill. I think a big fire is terrible.

"Are you calling mad? I must fine every one of you a one cent coin for that!"  There are six old stories in this book. The men and the women in this book- William Tell, Tom Blood, Lord Bao, King Matthias, Johnny Appleseed, and Lady Godiva- are all real people from history.  My favorite story is Lord Bao and the stone . Lord Bao lived in the south of china. He was a judge, and all the people loved him because he was very fair. The sentence of the quotation is his words. One day, he saw a young boy who was crying. Lord Bao asked why he cried. He said that he was an oil seller, and his money was stolen when he was sleeping. Lord Bao decided to find the thief.  I think that Lord Bao is very kind to everyone and fair. I want to become a considerate person like him.  This book is written in easy English and has a lot of colored illustration, so it's you can read in a short time. If you are interested in it, please read it!

 I went to LLC. There are a lot of attractive equipment.  First, there are many textbooks for examination such as TOEIC. We can borrow them so we don't have to buy them to study. It's very useful.  Second, LLC has many picture books. They are written by Chinese, Germany, and other languages. And there are interesting pop-up picture books. I saw them for the first time, I'm interested in. Third, we can watch foreign movies in LLC. I have wanted to watch CARRIE, a horror movie. I could only watch in the early part, so I will watch continuation of this during the break. It's helpful for me.

 Last Sunday, I went to Yatsushiro with my sister to watch badminton games called "Koukou-Soutai". I belonged to badminton team in my high school, so I went there as a graduate and cheered my juniors. I watched high-level games and this made me excited. When my juniors won the game, I felt the deepest emotion. This also reminded me of my teammates and youth. I want to play badminton again.
