Hikari's Book Review

They want to kill me. And so they wrote to Queen Elizabeth. And now I sit here, in Fotheringhay Castle, and wait for her to answer. I do not want to die, James my son, but I do not want to live all my life in an English prison. I am old, and tired of life.      England and Scotland in the 1500s. Two famous  queens -Mary, the Catholic of Scots, and Elizabeth Ⅰ, the Protestant Queen of England. It was an exciting and a dangerous time to be alive, and to be a queen.      Queen Mary was killed by queen Elizabeth in 1587 because she was falsely charged with murder. It is said that Mary killed her husband, but it was a lie. Before she died, she wrote a letter for her son to prove her innocence.      I've already read Yoshii sensei's book, so I found this book in the library. It is a sad story, but we can learn about history of England. If you're interested in it, please read it.

She kissed him and put a paper flower on the bed, next to his head. Then she put her hand on the back of his neck.      And she turned him off.      This book contains three short stories. These titles are Spam, A Flower for Lumus, and Zima's Last Dream. Each stories  ask questions about the world in five years, in a hundred years and fifteen hundred years. Can an email tell us what to buy? How can you know if someone is a machine or a person? What are the dreams of the last woman? If you want to know these answer, please read it. This book has unrealistic stories, so I was excited.

"It fells good to be back in the city again," the man said. "There's no city like New York. But what do you do, mister?" "The name's Nat Marley," I replied. "I'm a private investigator." "I need to find an old friend," the man said. "He was like a brother to me."      It is thriller story. The main character is Nat Marley. He is an private investigator. He faced some problems.      This story is so complicated and you may feel it is a little difficult, but it is very interesting. If you think you can't read it, but don't give it up!:)
