The Fireboy

"There!" he thinks late one night. "It's ready." He smiles. The necklace is very beautiful. "Queen Cleopatra is going to like this," Hapu thinks. "She's going to pay a lot of money for it, too. I know she is."

 Hapu lives in Ancient Egypt  at the time of Queen Cleopatra. His father, Bak, has asmall factory. he makes gold tables and chairs. Hapu always helps him. He is a 'fireboy'. Everyday he pushes a long handle up and down.

 One day, his father becomes ill because he works too hard. So Hapu should earn more money instead of his father. Then, he hits on a bright idea.

Holly the Eco warrior This story is about a girl named Holly tried to protect the trees in the garden from her family. Holly loves nature and has always wanted to protect the environment. She is also a vegetarian and likes organic vegetables and fair trade.  One day, her father told Holly that he would cut down a tree to build his new  office in the garden. Holly was furious with it and left the house with a dog, Eco. She decided to stay in the tree house. Her parents repeatedly persuaded her to come down from the tree. Holly called her friend, Grace and then she explained the whole story. After that, Grace and some other friends arrived at Holly's house. Book review series

 Today, I'll introduce magic key series of Oxford Reading Tree. My favorite books are Survival Adventure, Underground Adventure , and Australian Adventure.   Biff, Chip,and Kipper have a magic key which took them some adventures. They always experience dangerous adventure with their my friends. They learn many things from adventures. These book are written in easy English, so you can read them easily. "The stone is called the Blue Eye," said Princess Aisha. "Without it I cannot become Queen." Suddenly there was a shout. Some men began to run towards them. "Quick run!" said Princess Aisha. "There men are dangerous.  Mum was tidying up. Biff and Wilf were helping her. They found a bag. It was their father's and full of marbles. He said Biff could keep the marbles. The children looked at the marbles. Biff picked up the biggest marble of all. It was blue, and beautiful. Wilf put the marbles back in the bag. Suddenly, the magic key began to glow.
